What a fantastic reaction, Addie. This movie is one of my all-time favorites, so I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. Although I love the first one, for me, this one is even better. I thought it was a masterstroke, making Arnie the good guy in this film. It never gets old, seeing how shocked people are when he turns out to be the good guy. I'm also glad you didn't see the trailers or anything for this movie, because the trailers do spoil it by showing that Arnie's Terminator is good here. Much more fun watching reactors be surprised by it. What a joy, watching you get so invested in the story and the characters, and especially in the Terminator himself. So fun.

After this point they just slap some fresh paint on the Liquid Metal Terminator, make it a chick 'cause John's a male, and make another grab for your money. After that, it just gets tragic and dumb at the same time. IMHO.

2022-09-02 17:32:32 +0000 UTCDon't listen to the haters. No, T3 isn't in the same league as the first 2 (and, as with "Jurassic Park III" and "Spider-Man 3," the formula was definitely starting to wear thin), but it's still worthwhile. And it's got a cool ending. Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

2022-09-02 16:38:13 +0000 UTCAwesome reaction, Addie. T2 is one of the examples of a sequel that's greater than or equal to the original. The liquid metal Terminator is known as the T-1000, and yes, T-800 endoskeletons (which is Arnold's Terminator model) do look creepy.

And it ranks, for me, as one of the all-time best ever movie sequels along with "The Empire Strikes Back". To me, Terminator 3 isn't bad, but it's not as great as the first two movies.
