As we officially enter spooky season for 2022, we're starting with our canonical list of movie and TV show recommendations. πŸŽƒ

Movies We ALWAYS Watch In October

Comments

Mockingbird Lane with Portia di Rossi as Lily Munster and Eddie Izzard as Granpa.

Young Frankenstein

Mr. Toad and Ichabod. It is a Disney cartoon, and skip the toad part.

I'm such a child, but I love the Hotel Transylvania movies, 4 has a different cast and is a bit cack, but 1-3 are great!

When the Mary Poppins movie came out in the early 1960s, I spent an awful lot of time jumping off the doghouse holding an open umbrella trying rather desperately to figure out what it took to fly away from it all. This competes for the β€œHow Gay Is That” award with me crying when I read the newspaper article about the death Judy Garland. How could my parents overlook these signs of a budding la-dee-dah 12-year old pansy even after I dressed as a Greek goddess for Halloween?

Halloween for me is the perfect time to rewatch the Castlevania series on Netflix. It is possibly my favourite tv show of all time

Love your choices! One underrated one that my best friend and I were luckily enough to watch is Housebound (2014) about a woman who is placed under house arrest at her childhood home with her mother after not speaking for years and supernatural things start to occur. It’s a Australian horror-comedy with the mother being the best thing entirely! πŸ˜†
