2022-12-03 21:49:56 +0000 UTCI feel exactly the same as you about Junior, usually the songs are so childish that I have no interest at all but this year I'm quite invested. I think Malena really started a new trend of songs more to pre-teens/teenagers and I don't see that as a bad thing. Kids don't really listen to "kids music". They are into the music their older siblings or parents listen to, so that shift is what will get them interested in watching and voting. I really love Freya (her acoustic performance on It Takes Two was so good, she's getting more confident) and Sophie. A Eurovision YouTuber I follow said that Junior is on the Irish language channel in Ireland, so hopefully she'll do well enough to influence RTE to send a Irish language song soon.
