"She reaches from beyond the grave, to make good men her wicked slaves." Good men, probably just meaning good people but...could that be alluding to "Goode men?" As in Nick Goode and his family? My theory is the Goode family always have a seat of power and their job is to make sure to cover up everything that happens so the witch can keep doing her thing. It said Sunnyvale was established in 1666 on the sign in part 1 so my theory is that maybe the Sunnyvalers made a deal with her all those years ago to keep them safe and Shadysiders the victims. Hopefully we'll find out when we see the origin story next movie!
