Sent you a few pix on Twitter of mine. I love that you don't read the description for the episode because it flat out said vampires in it. You calling it on your own is way more fun. And that bit at the start is why it didn't matter that you didn't remember Lonnie in the alternate universe because now he's dead lol. Okay the really cute Wayhaught scene after the credits has two important aspects to it - the first being that it confirms that yes, Wayhaught did talk about the stuff from end of S2 and own up to their own parts. The second is that Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna) directed this scene. So the beautiful lighting and layout is thanks to her. And we all thank her for it lol. (Mel directs an episode of S4) Mama Earp is Megan Follows! Anne of Green Gables in her youth, many many other things since then. Most recent thing I'd seen her in before Wynonna was on Reign. So the scene in this episode with Mama Earp was real. What we saw end of S2 was in reality they hadn't decided what to do with the character I believe but is explained kind of in the next episode. Not precisely, but enough that I'll be able to finish the explanation without it being spoilery. I LOVE Nicole's outfit in this episode, and yes, her hair is awesome. We don't get enough of this outfit and the one she was wearing when she clocked Wynonna at the Homestead. Not sure if you picked up on it, but the party is being held at the old Gardner house - where the Widows hung out after stealing Mercedes' and Beth's faces. (Also in case you are not sure because of the number of times we thought the little shit was dead, yes Tucker is dead, gone, never to be seen or heard from again) Oh! So you never watched the S2 promo so you wouldn't have noticed, but in every season trailer, you get one really great WYNONNA!!!!!! scream from Waverly. The end of this episode is the one for the S3 trailer. Actually, it'll be fun to see your reaction to it because I'm realizing just how much of it is from this episode lol. Nicole thinks she survived a massacre like the one we saw at Pussywillows, somehow connected to the Cult of Bulshar. More on that in the future. Clarifying because this won't be laid out necessarily - Bulshar is a demon. The vampires came from Europe because they heard Bulshar had risen and they wanted to curry favor with him. How they know who and what he is in Purgatory will be explained later. Bulshar's followers are a mixture of humans, other demons, and the vampires you met this episode. The general theory as to who could be pulling on Waverly was the two choices you gave - Bobo and Bulshar. No commentary on whether either or neither of those guesses is correct, but remember that the last time we saw Bobo, he was trapped in Doc's well with a wooden lid on top of it. I won't give anything away as to who she is, but Contessa is played by the lovely Chantel Riley, who is a delight to the fandom (note we have delights to the fandom who are in anywhere from 1 to all episodes; saying this conveys nothing more than I know her real name lol). You will learn more. I think the Nicole being off thing is twofold. 1, she was already glamored when Wynonna and Waverly arrived. 2. As you said, her having some repressed memory flare up does shit to lots of people. I appreciate that Waverly recognized that she was kind of being ridiculous as she talked to herself in the mirror. Thing that usually you only pick up on second or third watch through - the flyer that was covered in blood that Wynonna tossed at her mom was advertising Michelle Gibson (Mama Earp), the Rodeo Queen, in 1996. So ready for you to get on with the season!
