I thought it was real 😭 I remember when I first started watching the show I pointed him out from that movie on Netflix that I had just watched and that popped into my head realizing he probably moved on to do that and other things!! It also makes sense with the age and when Wynonna left as to why she didn’t tell Waverly. Ugh, that was a tough one!!

Okay I've just reached the point where Nicole heads for the Homestead and Dolls goes off to find Doc. As the camera pans away from Jeremy, in the foreground is a photograph from the Cult of Bulshar file of a weird symbol. The scene cuts to a closeup of the same symbol cut into a tree and then moves on to Wynonna walking in the woods with Mama Earp. Oh my heart, you're pausing to wish for more info on Dolls and trust me, we all wanted more too. The death happened because Shamier Anderson was ready to move on from the show and asked Emily to have Dolls die like a hero. I tell you this now because immediately after the episode aired, he tweeted about it so that we wouldn't be hoping for the next episode to undo it. As far as I know, it was a total surprise until it happened. So yeah, Dolls is actually dead. More will be revealed about the Wynonna not telling Waverly about Mama Earp's location in the future, but I tend to agree with you that she should have done it earlier. The show kinda retconned slash messed up the timelines so Waverly varies between 4 and 6 when everything went down (we're told she was 4 when Mama left and at one point that it's 6 months later when Ward dies, but prior to this we were told she was 6 when Ward died). Either way, when the show starts, Waverly has just turned 21 (remember, her birthday is 4 days before Wynonna's, which is one of the reasons it's messed up that no one ever remembered it). She says she hasn't seen Wynonna in 3 years, so she was 18 and still in high school likely when Wynonna left; not necessarily a good time to have told her possibly. Like I said, more to come on that in the future. Sending you so very many hugs. It sucks majorly to lose him. I promise next episode will actually deal with grief etc rather than just jumping forward in time or something like that.
