This suggestion is based solely on some of your background artwork (is that really a Hans Solo kitty?!), and ties in beautifully with Wynonna Earp. Shamier himself was getting more work, including yes, that movie, and he chose to leave. The fight for S4 was LONG. To the point that the first line of S4 is a joke about that. I really wanted to warn you but didn't know how to do it without spoiling you. My partner and I just finished a book series last night and one of her favorite characters dies right at the end so I had to do the same thing, no spoiling and wishing I could hug her (we live 3000 miles away from each other). I think the gun coloring is just the lighting. I've never seen commentary otherwise. This quieter version of TTD is one of only I think twice in the series that we get it. Nicole's sky funeral is only legal in Tibet. IIRC, there are other locations in the world where you can do it if you're Indigenous, but yeah in general that's not happening. One of the things I love most about this episode is all of the different types of mourning. It HURTS but showing them all as valid is wonderful. The vampires have nothing to do with the Cult of Bulshar directly. "Leather Bob" or whatever Waverly called him was a Revenant, not a vampire, and he was the person doing the murdering. Nicole witnessed the massacre, that's all. (Incidentally, the music festival Nicole references also had a poster up on the wall at Pussy Willows - Shelterland Music Festival 1996. There's merch for it! I have a t-shirt) Wynonna going off at Jeremy was the thing that upset me the most in this episode. I GET it, of course. But her throwing loyalty at him when the whole point was that he was loyal to Dolls and that's why he didn't tell Wynonna just breaks my heart. Lol I already commented on the Nicole not being a vampire thing (remember, she was with her aunt and uncle, not her parents). Waverly's birthday being forever forgotten is just about her family being awful people. At least, it never gets commented on as anything other than that for the entirety of the series. As to who/what Waverly is... I will tell you that you will find out... eventually. That picture Dolls gave to Wynonna has a matching one of them all looking at the camera (rather than a selfie style) that was released as promo material. One of the merch creators, @earpbands on Twitter, sends a little wallet-size version of it in most orders. Lol the reason Doc made the 'no teeth' comment is because remember, she's one of the vampires. And they mentioned it, not sure if you retained it, but the house she's squatting in is the same place they had the party, the old Gardner place. We've seen Doc call her Contessa, she told Waverly to call her 'Cataline' I believe. As she confirmed, she's Doc's wife. We'll get her full name and back story eventually. Speaking of back story, yes, we'll get more of Nicole's... eventually. lol Because you specifically mentioned it at the end - while yes, we'll get an answer eventually about BBD, there will never be another mention or sighting of Quinn. (He has a semi-lookalike on the show at one point that I got confused about down the road, hence me telling you so you don't wonder.) Hope you did something nice for yourself after crying through this whole thing. I had to cry all over again. Every time we see her put that key necklace - that he gave back to her not once, but twice (1x01 and 2x01) - on the gravestone, I sob. "He died with his boots on."
