Even with the disagreements with some of your reactions, you are so very enjoyable to watch, the way you just knew that BB was Black Beard was amazing, most reactors dont catch on to that, a few didnt even know who Black Beard was after his name eas dropped (so disappointing). Sigh, spoke too soon, you are confusing the timelines of when they are in Storybrook under the 2nd curse, to the flashbacks to the "missing year" in the enchantrd forest. And he is telling Ariel not to beleive everything she hears and glancing nervously at Smee because he doesnt want his good deeds of the 2st half of this season to get back to Smee and the rest of his crew of Pirates. I mean, in this case i can see how property is not the same level as a person, but Hook is not obliged to sacrifice the only thing he has for anyone else, especially when Ariel can just speed swim around to find her prince, let alone just dive right into the water after Black Beard to save him anyways.

I definitely got confused by the flashback, totally thought it wasn’t from the missing year 🤣Once I realized I think they were trying to misdirect and make us think it was Mila, but no one can deny that he has some serious feelings for Emma! I missed the wake up rats comment 🤣🤣 Yes!! I read it was confirmed for November, but I don’t think they had an official date yet. So excited to continue that because it started getting really good!

All of his comments about love were because he was missing Emma and had no hope that he would ever see her again. Also, in some instances he used the Jolly Roger as a metaphor for Emma. The reason he was whispering with Ariel was because as a Pirate, he was trying to uphold his reputation. Since he did not think he would see Emma anymore, there was no reason to be good, so he was trying to go back to his old life. You may be right that he was actually trying to help Ariel when he said give up because love is nothing but heartache. Also Rumple turned Smee into the rat, and they made reference to it a couple times before he said he was dreaming of cheese. In the beginning he told Hook it was good to be back and not as a rat. And then when Hook came into the bar to announce they were going after the jolly roger he said wake up you rats, "no offense Smee". As usual I enjoyed your reaction. Your ability to read the context of some of the episodes and figure out the twists is excellent. It had been so long since I saw it I had forgotten that Ariel was actually Zelena in the present time but you knew it immediately. Looking forward to the next one. On another note, do you know when the second half of Gossip Girl will be starting?
