Ok, first off, your friend is probably about the Jersey thing LOL Secondly, are you a teacher? Because if you're not then you should be, you explain everything so well and it really does help me a lot! Thirdly, I am going to go change because I just read Christmas haha

I do love that cover of Jolene!!! You can super tell that Miley grew up around Dolly. And yes, Dolly is indeed Miley's godmother.
There's definitely something weird with your Netflix because it's showing up still for me. My New Yorker friend says she blames the fact that you're in Jersey lol.
Okay, so end of 3x04, we saw Waverly catch Mama in the barn and then there was something scary behind her. Cut to the squad in the Homestead when Wynonna comes home. Wynonna tries the brownies and gets brainwashed, but not before they've mentioned that 'Mama is tied up in the barn'. The start of the episode is Wynonna deciding that not enough rope had been used, so after what we saw.
Mama telling the story about the demon showing up in the photos helps explain why Waverly doesn't have any of herself from the time before Mama left. Obviously there were none after because Ward was an asshole.
The guy is the Revenant from the institution whose head Wynonna ripped off. You were talking, but Jolene mentioned she'd watched him overmedicate to avoid taking care of patients and to take advantage of others.
Mama would run to the Gibson farm to hide from Ward, not from Julian. We know Ward was abusive toward her.
As far as I know, the singer was a random. Just they wanted you aware that karaoke was going on for what's coming up... hehehehe
Banana liqueur is just a running gag lol. There's no specific secret to it.
So the scene where Jolene tries to convince Waverly to commit suicide is a huge one in the fandom. "I'm here and I stay" is one of the most common phrases you'll see in Earper tattoos, often paired with a semi colon and an additional image that I won't tell you about as of now because it's spoilery for you still (otherwise I'd send you a pic of my own Earper tat). One way we ask for support is to talk about Jolene getting us down. It's a beautiful metaphor that is universal in the fandom, but shielded from judging eyes even when said out in the open.
Okay, Wynonna shot Jolene in the stomach instead of the head because she was funneling Jolene out to Mama's trap where yes, Mama was going to bind Jolene again. Instead, the trees reached out and snatched Jolene. We heard her talk to the vines as they took her, saying that "This was loyalty! The girl was for you!" and then separately she shouted out Bulshar's name.
I must return your attention to the apology scene because it took me three viewings before I noticed more than them cuddled up on the floor. The entire background is full of apology presents, including a ton of balloons. It's adorable.
No, Doc was saying that yeah he knows that Bulshar wants the ring back, and he doesn't care. Rather than making a deal to save himself, he's going to stick with team Wynonna and defeat Bulshar, even if he dies trying, despite knowing that means he'll also go to hell.
I will list facts as they are presented in the episode, but not try to persuade you whether or not any of them are true or what they mean:
Michelle tells Waverly and Wynonna that Waverly's real father's name is Julian.
Nicole states that Jolene is the demon.
Jolene tells Waverly that she came into existence the moment Waverly was born, as the universe 'craves balance'.
Bobo states that Waverly's father's name is Julian and that he is an angel.
Next up I will spoil one fact for you about the next episode so that you can be properly attired if you so choose. It is a Christmas episode!
