Starting the epic comment of the day with a giant hug about your uncle. I lost my aunt back in May and while it's different than losing a parent, it's nonetheless devastating. So glad your friend is doing better. I'll light a candle for their health.
"We got up to episode 7 so he doesn't know that Charlie dies yet..." Not me cackling knowing as soon as you unpause that line will no longer be true.
Follow up, your reaction to him waking up was even better than I was hoping for, which gets me even more hyped for what you find out later.
Spoiler alert: Nicole does not get a flaming phoenix butt tattoo at any point within this show. (And while I haven't seen any fan ones, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one person did it lol. There have been more... shocking tattoos but that's based around a future episode and I'll bring it up then)
The dog either doesn't exist or escaped the poor soon-to-be-dead victims. No dogs die in this show.
Doc told Wynonna that he became a vampire so that he would once again be nearly indestructible and therefore able to watch over Alice forever (I think he just said something like 'protect our daughter'). Wynonna thinks he did it because he was afraid to be mortal and die.
OH MY GOD YOU CALLING IT AT 28 minutes in! :dies:
And then spending the next 11 minutes backtracking it to the Adam and Eve thing lol.
I believe the vampire rule logic is this - they can get hurt and then they drink blood and it heals them (see 3x07 and Doc feeding her to heal her). She shows tremendous restraint in that she pulls herself over and rather than going straight for the blood, she instead calls Nicole on the radio and asks for help for them both. I think it's a really good way of showing she's not evil and has a code, even if it's not one we might agree with.
And 39:40 THE LOOK OF SHOCK!
And here I tell you your accidental accurate prediction from way back in season 1. When you realized that Willa and Bobo were together and you had a thought that Bobo was Waverly's father, you specifically asked if her sister was sleeping with her father. Wrong sister, wrong father, but yes, Jessie. Her sister slept with her father.
COMEDY GOLD I TELL YOU. I almost spit my drink out when you said it the first time.
I love the fact that while yes, Wynonna has some interesting tastes in her choice of partner, she is NEVER shamed for loving sex. Some of who she's chosen to sleep with maybe, but never for being sex positive, as it should be.
Mercedes' attitude is just awesome. I'm so glad we got to keep Dani Fucking Kind (the only way to write her name lol)
As you know we'll all say, take the time you need to for the funeral and family stuff. I believe these two episodes actually aired back-to-back originally, so while everyone had to wait so long for the next season, they didn't have to wait on this one.
I'm so glad you randomly got it right 2 seasons ago but apparently didn't think of it while you were reacting. But then you joke getting it even more right this episode and being shocked when you found out was PRICELESS.
Until the next one!

So sorry about your uncle, I also have an uncle that was recently diagnosed with cancer. So if you ever need to talk someone who can somewhat relate to what you're going through don't hesitate to reach out. Your Wynonna reactions are the highlights of my week, we love you!
