I deeply dislike Gerta. From childhood, right after Ingrid saved them all, Gerta always looked fearful and distrustful of her own sister, while Helga was the one who never wavered in her trust and love of Ingrid. Then as adults, it is still Helga who never hesitates to grab Ingrids hand of be a loving and comforting siter to her, while Gerta continues to keep her distance from Ingrid and hesitates to grab Ingrid's hand yet has not hesitation in grabbing Helga's hand. Gerta who seems to clearly love Helga while seemingly only pretending love Ingrid, then comes up with the idea to seek a way to get rid of Ingrid's power. Then, when Helga dies, Gerta doesn't hesitate to blame Ingrid and immediately trap her own sister in an urn! To simplify things, Helga loved and supported and promised to be there for Ingrid, but Gerta loved Helga, not Ingrid, she made a promise for the sake of Helga, not Ingrid. This same woman, after discovering her eldest daughter has the same power as the sister she feared, keeps her daughter trapped in a room, instilling the idea that her power is shameful and should be hidden and suppressed, then dies at sea while trying to again find something to rid Elsa of her power. In my opinion, it is Gerta who is the unforgivable villain of this story to both Ingrid and Elsa!
