I am so excited to get to the second half of this because it seems to be a common feeling that something gets messed up with a certain character and I am so here for finding out what and who it is lol

Jessie Dobbie Reactions

I like your TARDIS mug. If someone takes your dagger, can they control you? <_< "The Jessie One, I summon thee!" ...if didn't work ;-; Emma's Dark one look is based on the Dark Swan in Swan Lake, that's why her hair is pulled back in a bun like that, and I think she looks so villainous. It's fun. If anyone had a problem with you pausing to show your feet, they could put a SOCK in it. xD As the Author said, Regina gets screwed over the most and, by extension, Robin. lol Them holding hands like that makes me think of Guardians of the Galaxy. I was half expecting Regina to say "Dance off, bro" The guy in the boat looks like the Phantom of the Opera. Omg, when you said Killian and Belle I nearly died. that is once again another Belle ship I have rofl. Let's see, we have Belle and Enchanted Forest Rumple, Belle and Jefferson, Belle and Hook, Belle and Will...and if we want to go into my crossover ships...Belle and Loki xD Yeah, I might love Belle a little too much. Though thanks to you I'm now thinking about Belle and Leroy... But yeah. I can see Belle and Hook as siblings too. Like he's her overprotective brother and she is just protective over him. I like Dark Emma. As someone who didn't really like her character during my first round, I kind of preferred her as a villain. She's grown on me a lot, but still, I think Jennifer played her well like this. It's the storyline that starts to frustrate me a little and as a Belle stan I was getting frustrated with where they took her character, the whole thing with Micheal Socha was very fresh and I was upset and...as I told you in the DMs the second half of this season introduced one of my favorite characters in general and screwed them up. Like so far casting is amazing and writing for the characters is fantastic...but then they took a character who has such a charming personality, and make them so...nevermind. I'm not even going to go there until you get to it lol but Emma isn't the reason I stopped watching.

Well we usually put murderers in prison for their crimes we don’t dance with them or make them a guest of honor at a ball. Yea rumple’s darkness wasn’t a choice he did it to keep Neal from going to war Regina chose evil over and over and over again she didn’t do it to protect any one. So yea I hate her again forgiving someone for lying or stealing is one thing Regina is a SERIAL MASS MURDERER who has paid for her crimes until that happens she will always be evil to me. She forced Emma to use powerful dark magic therefore making her the dark one again knowing what would happen she didn’t care she’s EVIL and not worthy of a happy ending. Percival did not do an evil act he did a just act to me cuz of Regina he lost his entire family and his village he grew up alone and he’s the bad guy here nope I’m sorry I’m team Percival all the way he was murdered and no one cares.

John Walker Is That Dude

Regina blaming rumple is wrong u chose to be the evil Queen he didn’t force u no one did

John Walker Is That Dude

Regina is not the savior there’s only one and she ain’t it

John Walker Is That Dude

Also instead of having Emma be questionable, & dodgy, have her be more fun, & Miss chiefous, Emma should have been more playful then broody & weird. Even exciting & Enticing, enchanted dark. Well they didn't take advantage of any of range with Emma. I find her persona washed OUAT💖 as her hair, She sadly was washed away. I get it, she's the Dark one, & ohh she needs to freak on everyone, but Emma could have been written with better thought behind her behavior, & look. 🤦🏼‍♀️⁉️🍄

✨🧚✨Hope you & your fam are feeling better, Jessie. 🙋🏻‍♀️🐶💖🌏💖✨🧚✨

Killian can't see his sweet Emma thru the Matrix cold, Dark one look. The white hair was a miss, it's suppose to mean something, but never hit the mark. Which is too bad, cause they made the evil Queen looked fantastic, polished, & appropriate for her situation!! But your thumb nail is what they should have aimed for, a chilling Dom warrior Queen. I would have been on that train, much more then XD baby powder white¿?! They did Emma WRONG!! & Emma's pretty blonde head. & add white feathers, & a Professor bun, to the costume selection, & no improvement, just a mess. Add her her bright red lip, ahhw, no, dark ruby red, like a dark berry, everything including her leather ensemble was too stiff. I would have gone with a white silk Pirate blouse, black to tone leather tights, it's still Diseny, & 8pm slot, but Jennifer like everyone else in the Cast, didn't have a say, to wardrobe choosing. Just what Actions they could give, in the moment. Sad, that the hair & make up, & Edwardo's choice of Wardrobe wasn't thought OUAT💖 AS WELL... ?!👨🏼‍🦳🙍🏻‍♂️¿! Swan??

Melissa Amato

Jessie here's what Jen said about the White hair, which makes me cringy, too. poor thing had no control over the style choice. But the Crew who made her look, wanted her to be opposite of her mom Snow White. So the styling Choice doesn't play right with anyone. Emma before back to Story Brooke, is so much more natural & pretty. But the style change for Return to Story Brooke was too severe. Not even Hook wants any part of that.

Melissa Amato

Aha ok! I thought he looked Grim Reaperish. I'm definitely going to have to find another picture because now that I know she never has that hair it's annoying me too LOL

Jessie Dobbie Reactions

I can't wait to find out!

Jessie Dobbie Reactions

That’s exactly what it is with the hair, it’s too fake and it kind of brings me out of the scariness. Instead of being intimidated I’m like, “Hun, would you like me to condition and color that for you because I have some extra purple I can put in 🤷‍♀️” LOL But yes, I definitely agree in that they are doing a good job at flipping the script a bit and showing how human the hero’s can be!

Jessie Dobbie Reactions

Rick Riordan Percy Jackson got me into mythology. (Greek mythology) Greek, Norse and Egyptian are my favorite. If you're into Percy Jackson or Rick Riordan. Disney plus is in in the process of making a P.J TV series possibly 5 seasons. With Rick heavily involved. I'm so excited! Netflix is doing Kane Chronicles (Egyptian mythology) Marvel got me into Norse mythology.

I don't consider him an evil person. What I am saying is that he committed an evil act out of hatred and revenge. I understand his anger and his pain, but what he does is wrong. He didn't just try to kill Regina. He very nearly killed Robin because Robin protected the woman he loves. And I know you seem to have severe hatred for Regina, John Walker Is That Dude... but she is working hard to remain the hero she's become and she has earned the forgiveness of everyone who loves her many times over. If we could all learn to forgive those who commit wrongdoings so long as they are truly repentant and strive to be good everyday like Regina, then our world would be a far better place.

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

How is Percival evil all he did was go after the evil queen aka a murderer aka Regina

John Walker Is That Dude

That dagger is so cool! Great christmas gift. I love the scene between the Charmings and Regina, teaching her how to dance, it´s cute. and kinda funny how they are act like Regina´s parents when Snow is technically her stepchild. Yes, Emma´s hair is weird, I was actually kinda irritated by the promo picture you use, because I don´t think we ever see Dark Emma like that. It´s kinda nice by the way that they finally gave Emma her own place now. It´s about time after 4 seasons. So about the scene with the Fury and Robin, when that boat appeared on the Lake. That´s greek mythology. I´ve played way too much Hades recently (great game btw) so I´m into the subject matter right now. In greek mythology the boatsman Charon collects the souls of the dead and transport them on the river Styx into the Underworld. So the boat was there to collect the soul the demon was supposed to take.

I have no idea who you're talking to who doesn't care for this season. When the show first came out, it was widely agreed upon that Seasons 3, 4 and 5 were considered the three best of the entire show. Oh, well.....everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The hooded figure in the boat, was a guide to the underworld. He was there to collect Robin and take him there. As far as the whole "magic always comes with a price" thing, it's not a Dark One thing either, it's for all magic overall. I'm not saying who ends up pulling Excalibur from the stone, all I'll say is that it's a truly epic scene. ;)

thank you for another reaction!! a lot of people say this season isn’t the best, but i personally like it a lot. i do think seasons 1-3 will always be my favorite, but i still really enjoy the rest. i also think the concept of emma being dark is really cool, i just think it was executed poorly. they set such high standards for it and then it seemed to me to be put together kind of awkwardly. her hair also isn’t my favorite. i like the style, but i hate how the white looks. you can tell how fake it is and it looks really chalky. regardless i remember enjoying the story that went with it, it was just the physical aspect of it that i didn’t love. i started to realize in this season how the good characters aren’t as good as they seem, and i think you touched on it a bit here. they are known to be the best and most righteous, yet they seem to have almost tunnel vision when it comes to saving someone/something. as we see here, they are very focused on saving emma, (of course) but they seem to loose sight in the others who are being affected by what they do. for example we see robin get really hurt, but their top priority was still emma. they didn’t seem to have any hope that there’s anything they could do to save him without hurting emma, so they said no to saving him. i think possibly it’s just impossible to categorize snow, charming, and all the “heros” as heros because everyone has different standards as to what that means and they are still people who are going to make wrong decisions. as they develop through the series i feel like we see more and more of the good guys make these decisions and it changes our veiw on them. the fury was so creepy! i had forgotten about it and while watching this reaction i remembered how creepy this season can get. as a horror fan, i love it! thank you again, can’t wait until monday!! have a good new year’s everyone❤️

The Price- Thank you so much for another fantastic reaction, Jessie! I really enjoy this episode a lot. And like always, I have my favorite moments, which I will get back to in a bit... This episode starts off once again with the dwarfs as they're standing together at the town line to bravely, or perhaps foolishly, discover what would happen to everyone should they cross the town line in order to try to escape from Emma now that she's the new Dark One. I can most certainly understand their fear, given that Emma has been on their side of good fighting against all evil until now. And given that she was once a hero, she would know the heroes' every move. David and Mary Margaret arrive just before Dopey steps over the line, but in spite of their leaders' protests, Grumpy tells Dopey to step over anyways and unfortunately, Dopey is suddenly transformed into a tree. I just love the frustrated look on David's face in this moment. He's just so done with the numerous curses constantly being cast over the town line so that no one can ever leave town. So funny. And I really like how there's once again a protection spell over the town line preventing anyone from leaving, and that it's once agian different. Every curse cast over the town line is different for every season, or story arc. In season one... the curse caused anyone who attempted to leave to crash like what happened with Ashley and Kathryn. In season two... anyone who crossed lost their memories like what happened to Sneezy and Belle when Hook had shot her. In season three during the Neverland arc... no one ever attempted to leave, but Storybrooke was invisible to the outside world, except for a few of those who managed to find Storybrooke with help, like Neal, Greg, and Tamara. Within the Wicked Witch arc... anyone who attempted to cross was always snatched up by Zelena's flying monkeys. Little John and a few of the dwarfs learn this the hard way. In season four's Frozen arc... everyone was just kept trapped in Storybrooke by the Snow Queen's ice wall surrounding the whole town. And in the Queens of Darkness arc... anyone who crossed the town line would never be able to come back because all of Storybrooke became invisible to the outside world, which is left over magic caused by the Snow Queen's magic even after Elsa was able to bring the ice walls down. Now in season five's Camelot arc... anyone who crosses the town line is suddenly turned into a tree like they all learn once Dopey steps over. A curse I suspect Emma had been inspired by from the tree that Merlin is trapped inside in Camelot. I hope this explanation about the town line curses helps. Now... Arthur introduces the heroes to Merlin, who is unfortunately trapped inside a giant tree within the castle's courtyard, and then goes on to explain that the Sorcerer has been giving him prophecies while still trapped, as he has been trapped for many, many years. I really love the mystery surrounding Merlin. Then, Arthur tells everyone he plans to have a ball that night to honor the newcomers to Camelot, which Killian at first is frustrated by, because more than anything else he wishes to help free Emma from the darkness and thinks a ball to be a waste of time. However, Emma assures him that the darkness won't corrupt her in one night. I'm not sure how reassuring that would be for him, but he comes to understand and accepts that they're gonna have to try to enjoy the ball since it's happening whether he likes it or not. Also... I really love seeing Regina step forward to be the Savior for Emma, in order to protect her since the heroes all know they can't tempt her to use her magic that is now taken over by the darkness. Regina recently came to be known as a Savior within the alternate realty written in the former Author's storybook... Heroes and Villains. So, I really like that Regina takes this idea, as it comes over into this season too. However, I absolutely do feel badly for Emma too, because you an definitely see her sadness over having to be stepped over and not being able to help like she's always been able to do until now. It would be very difficult for her to deal with. Also... I love that Regina takes away Zelena's voice in order to keep her from telling Arthur and his people the truth about Emma being the Dark One, and how she mocks her by calling her sister her mute handmaiden. I also love seeing Zelena's frustration too. Their sisterly banter is great. Now... I really enjoy the next scene between Regina and Emma, as Emma gets upset with Regina for pushing her into the background by proclaiming herself the Savior, especially when Regina accidentally commands Emma to stay quiet and to thank her instead just because she's holding onto the dagger. It's very funny. As for the whole Percival storyline with him giving Regina the necklace that allows him to spy on her, and then him nearly killing Robin upon trying to kill her... I don't like that Percival turns out to be an antagonist upon attempting to kill Regina, given that Percival is a Knight of the Roundtable and is supposed to be a man of good virtue. It's sad to see someone who is meant to be good, be made into someone who is evil, or at least commit a heinous act. But with this being said... I do really love the story he tells Regina while they're dancing about how he remembers her as the Evil Queen, who slaughtered everyone in his village. I appreciate your insights about this knight hating Regina, and us finally seeing some real consequences she is forced to face and suffer from because of one of the most horrendous acts of evil Regina has ever committed on this show while still the Evil Queen. And I absolutely get why Percival wants to kill Regina. I also like how this storyline brings about the Fury, and how we learn that the prices Rumple always demands because all magic with a price... is most certainly a Dark One thing to some degree. I believe Rumple adds to this and makes the demand of a price for magic his own, but it's most certainly not just because Rumple likes being a jerk. And I like the look of the Fury in spite of the CGI, as well as the present day storyline with the Fury appearing in Storybrooke to finish its task when Regina stopped it from taking Robin's soul upon her asking Emma to heal him in Camelot. In regards to the price to be paid and Robin having to pay it unless Regina gives her own life... If you remember back to season three's episode... Quiet Minds, it's revealed that the price of saving someone from death, is for a life to be taken in return. Neal died upon saving Rumple from the Underworld. However, in this episode, Regina pleads with Emma to save Robin from certain death, but she doesn't give her life in return. Instead, she asks Emma to heal him using the darkest of magic and Emma does, so the price is left unpaid. It is because the price is unpaid, that this Fury arrives from the Underworld to come after Robin because his life was restored without someone's else's lie being given in return. This is why Regina must be willing to give her life in return in the end. And at last, she is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, but because Mary Margaret, David, Grumpy, and Arthur come forward to also take the sacrifice upon themselves as well, their life forces combined is far too much for the Fury to take and therefore it takes a little of each of their life forces as it had already done to Robin before it becomes too much, then returns to the Underworld. I hope this long explanation helps you to understand this price of magic. Also... I really love that this storyline brings about more love between Regina and Robin too. They really are quite amazing together. You can tell how much they love one another, and it's easy to understand why there are so many fans of their ship... Outlaw Queen. :) As for one of my favorite moments within this main storyline... I love when Emma uses her dark magic in order to heal Robin, then immediately turns to Killian as she kisses him in hope of being able to quell the rise of power within her. However, we quickly see that it doesn't really work as well as Emma would have hoped, as she leaves the room and starts down the stairs until Rumplestiltskin reappears to her again to taunt her, and reveals the glow in her skin that's suddenly begun to change upon Emma using the dark magic within her. Unfortunately, Emma's slowly begun to love the feel of her rising power coming from the darkness. And I love these moments within the show. Next... I love the scene before the ball where David, Mary Margaret, and Doc help Regina to dance, after they encourage her to attend the ball. I love how when they tell her to change into a ball gown, Regina magics herself into one of her black gowns she would have worn as the Evil Queen until David and Mary Margaret points out that she looks too dark, and then how she magics herself into a purple/pink ball gown instead. So cute. It's rare to see Regina feel so uneasy, so I really love this moment for her. It's adorably awkward and so funny. The moment between Mary Margaret and Emma as they are getting ready for the ball is so sweet. I really love seeing a mother/daughter moment between them, which we haven't really gotten in the show since the Neverland arc. And then... I love the scenes at the ball when Emma, Killian, Robin, and Regina are shown dancing, and especially when Emma makes her way down the stairs to Killian after the herald announces her and her mother, as Killian lovingly begins to tell Emma how beautiful she looks, until she quickly states, "I know" and smiles at him so happily. I love the dancing we see no matter how brief, until Percival attacks Regina. As for the Storybrooke storyline... I really like how David, Mary Margaret, Grumpy, and even King Arthur are able to save Regina from losing her life to the Fury when she is willing to sacrifice herself to save Robin. It is a very Guardians of the Galaxy moment, but I like that each of them are willing to give some of their life force for Regina. It shows just how far Regina's grown, and much our heroes and everyone else have all come to see that Regina truly has become a hero too. I especially love Grumpy's moment when he assures Regina that she really can save them. I love it! As for my favorite scenes within this episode overall... I absolutely love the moments between Dark Swan and Killian, when she whisks him away to show him her new home that we are led to believe she has found for herself. I love how Killian tries to bring Emma back to him with loving words and finally a kiss... after he had spoken with Belle about True Love's Kiss possibly breaking even the curse of the Dark One, and how much more difficult it is to love a Dark One than it is to hate one. Unfortunately, True Love's Kiss doesn't work, because Emma isn't willing to give up her power just yet. And you can really see the despair in Killian's eyes and on his face, especially in the ending scene when he and Belle share a drink as Rumplestiltskin's voice in Emma's head is monologuing to Emma about how their True Loves, the love of their family, their friendships, and the magic that threatens to take away what they as the Dark Ones have. And to defeat them, Emma is told that she must snuff out the light. I also really love the moment Killian refuses Emma when she claims they can still be together as she tempts him to be with her and accept her, and then seeing him walk away from her. It's sad, but it shows how much Killian has grown too because he is able to resist the darkness in spite of wanting to love Emma so deeply. Amazing!! Like for you, my heart is breaking for Killian because it is as you said... he has lost his happy ending after fighting so hard to find it. It's so, so sad. Killian deserves to be so happy with Emma. Also... I absolutely love the small moments between Killian and Belle, as we continue to see the friendship between them that had really started back in the Queens of Darkness arc. And I love how they both now have more in common, as they both love someone who is and was a Dark One. We've gotten a little between Killian and Belle in pasts seasons, but they've never really bonded like they do in this episode, and I really love it. I love how Belle is there for Killian, now that he's struggling with loving Emma so long as she remains the Dark One, just as she did with Rumple. And I love, love, love how Killian declares how he can spend centuries more trying to save Emma from the Dark One, like he had spent centuries trying to kill the Dark One in the form of Rumplestiltskin. Next... Henry finds interest in a girl from Camelot named Violet, in both the past storyline and in the present storyline. And they look cute together. I really love the song choice played during their scenes together, and that it's a nice touch that it's a song from the modern world that Violet takes a liking to. Only You, by Yazoo. I like Regina is able to free Sneezy from the stone Emma cast over him in the previous episode. And she appears to be happy, after everything she went through in trying to save Robin. And because she feels in this moment that she has a chance to stop Dark Swan, in spite of Emma's earlier words about there being no Savior in town any longer. And lastly, like I spoke of above... I love the very end between Dark Swan and Rumplestiltskin from inside her head, as he talks about how Emma must purge herself from those in her life who love her, if she is to succeed in her plans that we're told is to snuff out the light, and that she must pay the price in order to pull the sword from the stone once more. I love this montage with Rumple speaking over it, then seeing the dark look in Emma's eyes upon seeing her determination in what's to come. :) Oh, and in answer to your question regarding the being on the lake that appears through the fog as the Fury is trying to send Robin down to the Underworld... this being is known as Charon, the Ferryman of the Underworld in Greek Mythology. It's his duty to ferry newly departed souls down to the Underworld upon their deaths. He was there for Robin, but then returned to the Underworld empty handed because Robin was saved. Overall... I really enjoy this episode a lot. It's not one of my favorites, but I still really like it. The moments between Emma and Killian are strong, as are the moments for Regina and Robin too. Thank you so much for your reaction once again, Jessie! Enjoy reading my thoughts! And onto the next episode... Sincerely, Heidi
