2022-03-08 12:37:13 +0000 UTCI love this show so much. I´m glad you enjoyed it just as much. I really like that Dietfried got humanized a little bit. He was still kinda a jerk for no reason at the very beginning, but I think in the present in largely is related to him still mourning his brother, and potentially even feeling guilty himself for his death. So he projects that blame on to Violet. Overall I´m glad they wrapped it up on a positive note. By the way, a lot of things about this ending were actually foreshadowed/referenced in the Special episode. But without prior knowledge it doesn´t take anything away. Like we got a moment with Erica and Benedict, foreshadowing her crush on him, and the old postman mentioned the flight show they weren´t able to do for years when he showed Violet the letters in the warehouse.
