Amdusias

¿Quien es Amdusias?

Como saben Amdusias es el antagonista de The Rose of Life, y también aparece en When Demons Awake donde ya lo vemos con su forma terrenal, pero ¿quién es realmente este ser y por qué lo elegí para el comic? Bien primero le diré quién este ser:

Amduscias: En los textos antiguos tiene varios nombres, entre los más conocidos están “Amdukias” o “Amdusias”. Es uno de los demonios descritos en el Ars de Goetia y la Llave menor del rey Salomón, así como también en el texto de Johann Wierus, Pseudomonarchia Daemonum. Es una entidad reconocida por su perturbadora música y apariencia. En la demonología cristiana, Amduscias es un Gran Duque del Infierno que comanda muchas legiones de demonios: 29, 30 o 40 dependiendo de la versión.

Este demonio está asociado con el trueno, y las leyendas cuentan que su voz podía ser escuchada en las tormentas y que los árboles se doblaban ante el sonido de ésta. Sin embargo, otras fuentes lo presentan acompañado de varias trompetas pues su sonido advierte su llegada, ya que las trompetas y otros instrumentos invisibles dan conciertos según la dirección de Amduscias, quien es el gran músico del infierno, el genial compositor que crea las melodías infernales e inspira a los músicos humanos que buscan contactar con el lado oscuro de su sensibilidad estética-espiritual a través del poder arrebatador de los sonidos. Las descripciones del demonio lo presentan como un humano fuerte y poderoso, con garras en lugar de manos y pies, tiene la cabeza de un unicornio y una trompeta que representa su poderosa voz. Algunas fuentes dicen que el demonio puede convertirse en humano bajo el pedido del conjurador.

Bien esta es la información básica sobre Amdusias, la razón por la que lo elegí a este como antagonista fue porque también se presenta como un unicornio y más que nada porque es el más poderoso que cuenta con forma equina, y aunque en mi comic lo cambie a un Alicornio esto fue para ajustarlo a la historia y al mundo de MLP así como le hice y hare con los demás demonios que parecen o aparecen en el comic.
