Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your mobile is also viable to watch one of them.
As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first frame of the episode, generally right after the opening credits finish on your own copy (unless of course, the show has a cold open), then pause it. Don't worry, I show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction! Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.
A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.

Topher is such a great character. On one hand he's funny, kinda charming and innocent. You mentioned yourself how much you like him. But on the other hand he's a little arrogant, this incredibly intelligent but kinda emotionally stunted man-child, willing to poke around in people's brains changing who they are without worrying too much about what the repercussions might be. I've seen reactors have the complete opposite reaction to yours, a very visceral dislike of him for all those reasons. He weirds them out. Of course neither is right or wrong, which brings us back around to why he's such a fascinating character and so wonderfully portrayed. Adelle and Topher were infected from Mellie while she was being examined. Topher injected her to collect data and then later gave her a high five after he'd taken off his gloves. We later learn it's spread through touch and we're off to the races. Although they do kinda zip right past that info in amongst Topher and Adele's silly happy fun time lol. There's a few directorial cues along the way also. As always can't wait for the next one👍
