Stressful? Yes. This episode shows Rust’s bona fides as a legitimate badass, a guy who will Get. Shit. Done. At the cost of body and what’s left of his soul if he has to. Marty looks weaker by comparison, especially as his self-portrait family man has gotten stepped on pretty hard. He doesn’t have anyone but himself to blame, but he’s remarkably defenseless against his wife’s anger and indignation. He tries to blame everyone but himself, but he knows that it’s his failing that brought him here, even if he’s not ready to admit it yet. Buckle up, Ande. No spoilers, but the next episode and the ones following are going to blow your hair back. They take this series from Good to Excellent.
