A few things about this one. First, long ago and far away, I think I commented on one of your firefly reactions that the writers of Firefly were inspired at least some by Cowboy Bebop. In this episode, we see two things that Firefly references directly. The first is @1:01 ; compare that to your edited reaction to Firefly 1x12 @4:30. The second is @11:20, although not all of it made the edit. On the full version, compare the kick to (and subsequent bounces of) Spike's opponent to Mal's fight with Early in your edited reaction of Firefly 1x14 @22:55. There's a few little things in the one, but one I never noticed until this rewatch; either the casino ship or a casino in the ship is called "Spiders from Mars". Blink and you'll miss it, but it's stamped on the Ace of Spades seen @3:47. Does that name ring a bell for you?
