Aaaaaaand key change. ;) First and foremost, yeah, the music is a helluva thing? Isn’t it? All music in the series was composed (and I think performed) by the same composer/band. And yep, there’s a ton going on in this one; even after seeing it over (way over, I’d guess) a dozen times, I’m still seeing new stuff (or possibly re-seeing things I’d forgotten I’d noticed. Did you notice the cut from Spike getting shot to Jet cutting the branch off his bonsai and saying “I’m butchering it” (right as Spike is, you know. Getting butchered. Possibly because Jet refused to help him, which I only just thought of). And also (and this I only noticed on this watch) I have to wonder if Jet is looking at the limb he just severed from the tree and thinking about /his/ severed limb.
