People don’t bring this movie up enough in conversation. Not that people say it’s bad, but people tend to forget about it, I actually adore this film. The soundtrack is amazing, Fassbender as magneto is nothing short of “perfection” to quote the meme. Getting to see a more comic accurate version of the costumes is great, and the way they tie it into the real world event of the Cuban missile crisis was really cool! The only thing I don’t like about this movie is they killed Darwin, which should literally be impossible, Darwin In the comics is basically unkillable… that’s literally his power, he can adapt to anything… unless he’s in this movie. But the hate for what they did to Darwin aside I love this movie, it’s not my favorite, but a really good one indeed.
