1) Use rogue and Gnoll senses to locate for traps and/ or items

First things first is to procure a weapon! Dungeons always have something around that can be used for defense, even if it's a makeshift one. Be it a discarded weapon of a lost adventurer, a crude blunt object he can hit things with, or even a torch from the walls. Something will be better than nothing! And maybe allow the amulet to check the procured item attributes too (and maybe even tamper with them if the amulet so wishes~)
