Why the big delay?
Well for IW I personally haven't played it myself, I do have it and I do plan to play it but I just don't care much for Call of Duty anymore and I do not want to force myself to play games just for videos. The best Myth/video content only happens when you care about the game and care about exploring it.
So I called upon someone in the community to help me, his first selection of footage was a bit rough, lots of HUD and a lower quality than I wanted so I asked him to reshoot it and he happily did. His 2nd batch was much much better, you can actually see a comparison of the old and new footage in the video (old at 1:55 and new at 2:05) but the episode still didn't flow perfectly so I asked for addition shots.
Unfortunatly that collided with him doing exams but his final batch came in recently and it's great stuff. I'm very lucky to have people in the community who want to collect footage for me, it makes videos possible that otherwise wouldn't be but it's also been satsifying watching people get better at recording footage and be more creative, some of the shots in the final draft of IW are great and I played no part in directing them.
I'm interested to see the numbers of IW Myths, I'm assuming low (due to IW's small success) and predicting a lot of 'Myth: Call of Duty is dead. CONFIRMED' comments but Call of Duty is a big foundation for this channel and I think it's only right we keep it going.
