Upcoming videos, Christmas brainstorming.

This post should outline my plans until the end of 2017!

November

I want to get out another Battlefield 1 Myth video and Assassins Creed: Origins Myths out by the end of November. Battlefield 1 Myths Vol.19 will be next (it's taken more filming than expected to get it ready), then Assassins Creed: Origins Myths Vol.2. Thought Origins would be a one-off but the reception to the first one was very positive and we have enough ideas for another video so why not?

I should have done this months entry for Defend The Face by now but I was hoping DTH T-shirts would be ready by then but unfortunately they are not, going to wait until Monday, if they're still not ready, i'll consider just waiting until December until that gets announced. I also am going to record the first entry of the new Patreon show soon. I am not sure what it's name is going to be but it's going to be in the $5 tier and be behind the scenes commentary on how videos were made. Everything from brainstorming, filming, editing etc. Behind the Myths focuses on the live reactions, this is going to be more focused on the technical side of stuff, hopefully you guys like it, it will be replacing early Behind the Myths as a reward because I don't really think that reward is good enough.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Myths will be coming. It absolutely sucks that EA had to go and destroy that game with their greed, it will almost certainly have a knock on negative effect on the videos we make and their success. BF2 was the first real possibility at a great myth series since Battlefield 1, it looked big, varied and exciting. But it looks like it's not going to be that, I assume the videos will be heavily disliked because people frequently take their dislike for videos games out on our work and the series will die after a few episodes, we'll see, maybe I'm being too pessimistic, I'm just really disappointed EA messed this up so badly.

Christmas

I've recently been brainstorming something for Christmas. My first idea was a Myth advent calendar. 24 myths, 1 per day, a large assortment of games, some standard to DTH (BF1, Overwatch etc), some completely random and unexpected, like a lucky dip. I've kindof gone off the idea, it seems a bit spammy, will likely result in a lowering of video quality and will make posting regular videos in December difficult. I don't exactly want to make a music playlist video one of the days or label official myths videos as  'Mythmas Day Number 17' because that will lower traffic from non-subscribers. At the moment i'm working on simply doing 'The 12 days of Mythmas', which will be proper, full-length myth video every 2 days (1st, 3rd, 5th etc). It will be a lot of work but I think it will be a strong way to end the year, hopefully I can make it happen.

More updates to come, I'll have BF1 Myths Vol.19 and Origins Myths Vol.2 lists very soon, a new show for you $5 pledges and an updated look at December in the upcoming weeks.
