The new show has a name!

So a while ago I mentioned I wanted to create a 'Challenge' based show after people really liked the format of 'Skydiving onto a Ladder'. Now Behind The Myths is gone and is livestreamed instead, there's room for a personality based show. My initial idea was simply 'we make a difficult challenge to achieve in a multiplayer game and edit it like the Skydiving video', it was pretty vague but today I have refined the idea down and given it a title. 

It's going to be called 'Game in a Game'.

Game in a Game is going to be us creating our own games/objectives inside other games, we have two initial ideas.

'Hide the skull in Sea of Thieves'

Me and Jamison while playing SoT starting hiding a pig from each other on the ship, it was a silly distraction while we were sailing but it was a fun way to burn time. In case it isn't obvious, we were just taking it in turns to hide a pig somewhere in the ship, it's surprising how difficult it could be to find it, the only thing that gave it away was the pig squealing, so I thought hiding a small skull would make things more interesting. Treasure hunting is a great part of SoT so why not make our own? The idea is one person hides something, on a ship or island and the other people have to race to find it, first one to find it wins the round, its a game in a game.

Our 2nd idea is much earlier in the brain storming phase but its a 'Floor is lava' challenge in Fortnite.

I think DTH can broaden outside of Myths simply into a 'Watch us do weird things in games' type channel. Myths is never going to stop but I want to diversify and make DTH more flexible with its content and produce more of it.

We also started Rainbow Six Siege Myths last week. There was criticisms the myths were too obvious so I will be taking time to bring in people who know the game well and ask their opinions on the myths before moving forward, Vol.2 should be next week.

We will also be working on some myth mini-series, at least one more Sea of Thieves Myths, a mini series on Far Cry 5 and we will be revisiting Overwatch Myths with the drop of a new hero.

Going to leave Battlefield 1 to chill for a few weeks, it will be back though.
