It's time for a little change of scenery today as I share the last of the photos from my December 2022 shoot with Eric G Brown Photography.

There's no need to adjust your screens or have your vision checked! We've officially left the abandoned factory setting where the previous series of photos were shot and traded it in for an equally abandoned (and equally chilly) diner. Although a little different in terms of the backdrop, I think you'll still find these photos fit in perfectly with the theme established previously.

After spending a few hours shooting among the antique machinery and rusty tools in the factory and warehouse in Burlington, Pennsylvania, Eric and I decided to take a short detour to Wrightstown, New Jersey to the site of an abandoned diner he had explored previously. Earlier in the day, Eric had mentioned that this potential second shooting location was on the agenda depending on how quickly we wrapped things up at the factory, and I was delighted to discover that we had plenty of time remaining to head to the diner.

Although the diner itself appeared to have been abandoned for many years, with every surface covered in filth and the roof literally caving in, there were still little touches of humanity to be found throughout. Dishes, silverware, and even a menu or two lay scattered across the tables and floor and added a little warmth to what were otherwise abysmal surroundings.

Since this was a much smaller space than the factory we had just come from, our options were a little limited in terms of compositions, but Eric made quick work of finding the best possible shooting angles in each corner of the cramped diner. Although I recycled the same jeans and boots combination I had worn earlier in the day, I paired it with a sleeveless flannel shirt supplied by Eric - something I wouldn't normally wear but admit looks good on me!

Once we finished at the diner, Eric and I headed back to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he dropped me off before continuing on his trip home to Arlington, Virginia. After a full day of braving the cold, I was happy to be back in a warm environment and even happier to be able to take a hot shower and wash off all the grime I'd accumulated on my body throughout the day!
All in all, my experience with Eric G Brown Photography was an amazingly unforgettable one and I'm so thankful he allowed me the opportunity to model against a backdrop of "urban decay" - a style I'd always been a fan of. It may have taken me ten months to finally finish sharing all of these photos, but my sense of awe and wonder at seeing them as I've curated this series of posts is the same as it was when we first shot them last December!
As long as I've enjoyed the process of working together, I'm always quick to mention to a photographer that I'm open and willing to collaborate with them again in the future. As of the end of last year, I hadn't had a chance to do so with any of the photographers I'd worked with previously, but I'm happy to say that that has since changed and this may not be the last time you see me work with Eric G Brown Photography...
