Oh what a tangled web we weave! Two corpses to contend with when Navarro gets to Liz’s house, not to mention a distraught Peter. Danvers is truly surprised and so am I by Peter's insistence on cleaning up the crime scene. But I get it. Blood may be blood, but Danvers and Prior are now family of sorts and now are bound together in grief and grief.....she over her lost son, he over his lost parent, and both over decisions they’ve had to make in the line of duty. I found it to be a moving moment, although too brief a moment between mentor and student. Yet, to the caves the two ladies must go. I'm looking forward to find out if we discover what actually happened to the corpsicle crew.

2025-11-13 15:19:10 +0000 UTCThis will be the least consequential comment on this series, but once you see it you can’t unsee it: teal and orange. 😀 I heard someone say once that, from a cinematic standpoint, teal and orange are the color wheel opposites that are easiest to light. Then I started noticing lots of teal and orange. And when this season of True Detective came along, teal and orange were almost like characters in the show.
