Almost there now

Hello, guys. Every time, I find it hard to write these news updates because, honestly, I have no idea what else to say besides the fact that I'm working. I mean, how could the workflow from a month ago be any different from today? It can't. I'm still drawing, still pushing the rest of the team, and still trying to maintain quality without sacrificing time. So, here’s a portion of seemingly useless information that, I hope, will bring some comfort and make the wait a little less nerve-wracking.

The script is one and a half times larger than Nancy's (the Librarian) route, which only had one new background. In the "Beach Episode," there are six new backgrounds plus different small ones. The setting also requires putting all the character sprites into swimwear. And, of course, there are plenty of beautiful CGs that I've shown before and continue to share, though in modest portions to keep the game full of surprises.

As of now, the DLC is 70% complete.

Almost all the art is finished. Just 2 pieces left, plus some designs for mini-games. The coding is also nearing completion, and you can expect some cool and dynamic directing. The story is fully written.

To be completely honest, I went a bit overboard with the scope of this expansion. Initially, the plan was to just make four short scenes on the beach and then move on to the new game without a second thought. But I didn’t want to end things on such a note. I often see other games’ expansions getting very negative reviews, and I want to avoid that fate. As for the pricing for this update—don’t ask, because I don’t know yet. But it will be something symbolic.

To the question of “When?!” I'll answer this way:I want this update out as soon as possible because, in my mind, I’m already focused on the sequel. So many ideas, I can’t wait! I want to wrap up the first part and move forward as soon as possible.
