He's name-dropped here, but will be very important later. I think a lot of people forget this arc is where we first "encounter" him.

But it was very likely recontextualized with new information we got in an episode that aired (!) a few weeks ago – and it is hidden at a very fitting place.

Like Jango the hypnotist is basically a combo of Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger. And Dr. Kureha was totally modeled after Geddy Lee. There will be others coming up later on.
