"I am currently putting together a series which explores "gender ambiguity" - that is, my viewers will observe the subject/person without the preconceptions of what a "Male" or 'Female" subject or image "should" be. I am aiming to get people to see the image without the unconscious prejudices they bring to the work. I have collaborated with several people so far - non-binary, trans, cross-dressers, asexual people, drag queens and more. I would like to include a broad range of people in the project, with the ultimate aim of being in a Photobook, and possibly an exhibition. All boundaries and privacy concerns will be respected absolutely.
If I invite you, but you don't consider yourself "non-binary" or "gender ambiguous" don't fret - it's because I can see the potential in your folio of shooting you that way. But, of course, only if you're interested in exploring the art and the work.
