Manipulating Patrons
Added 2016-02-14 16:40:16 +0000 UTCHi, you can expect people misusing Patreon, it’s a free space for manipulating artists. I am not going to tolerate this though.
If you became my patron then, please, have the decency to pay for at least one month before exiting. I am totally OK with you becoming a lower tier but I will not tolerate any hit-and-run’s like these. Especially without filling the exit surveys.
I WILL post your personal data online to warn other creators about you, so that you’d be perma-banned from ever pledging again. Keep this in mind.
Please, don't become my patron unless you're up for this. Thank you for understanding.

So many creators I support on here have that problem and it angers me. It's unfair to the artists and the other patrons who are paying their fair share for the wonderful content being produced. I'm glad you're putting their names out there so we know who they are.

2016-03-06 22:44:01 +0000 UTCThere was a lot of great suggestions and Patreon does have a lot of space for progress but it's sadly not in our power to change anything now, so the artists will just have to do with what they have :/ I'm against calling names, I'd rather crush them with threats like my email (that apparently everyone got oh my god why) example has clearly shown...

And it would also be totally cool if you'd comment on not being pleased by the posted content in the exit survey to let the artist know their mistakes.

2016-02-15 11:00:42 +0000 UTCI thought they had fixed that, but checking the help page again I see it only initiates payment at the beginning of each "pay cycle" They could and should easily fix that by only making content available once the first pledge is processed. Also, brainstorming: what should we call those frauds? My first ideas are pretty bad because asses and dicks are great things and should be used as compliments, not insults.

All depends on how often the creator posts acause if I see only like, 3 pics or something when I was promised more then yep, I'm out...god that sounded bitchy...I hope I didn't offend cause it sounded like I offened...I'm gonna shut up now...

However I keep getting a glitch where I can't pay the other person, or I have paid and it's not updating. Please let me know if mine isn't working for you as well though, as I'm not getting anything come up saying there's a fault. In fact, I'm going to go to the other person and ask if it's gone through to check.
