I can only recommend Patreon if you won’t post content directly to it. This pirate site copies your entire Patreon posts with all the links and files attached. So you can charge your patrons through Patreon but you’ll have to send content via PMs or emails. Or else you’re not safe anymore...the website has reverse proxy, it’s untouchable. Thank you for your support! It’s very heartwarming to know that readers would support my work even without any benefits.

I happen to know of a pretty good copyright lawyer. Since affects "thousands of artists" it certainly is a matter for court, and while lawsuits in the American legal system are expensive, when splitting the bill between a group of artists (and donating patrons), it should be quite feasible.
