Dev update #99
Added 2022-12-31 10:05:00 +0000 UTCEnd of the year update! ... or rather the end of the month update.
What was I up to since the Episode 1 release? As mentioned in the previous dev update I was planning to deal with as much writing as possible. Unfortunately, life problems got in the way and no matter how hard I tried to focus, no good idea was born. After multiple trials, I gave up on writing for the time being - my head just wasn't in it. So I focused on something more fun and entertaining that doesn't require full focus.
A quick list:
- all characters set up for Episode 2 - a couple of new minor characters,
- all characters clothed and textured - ready to pose and render,
- all the cool outfits picked for the existing characters (just you wait Lilith fans!)
- all necessary environments set up and textured - almost ready for rendering
So a lot completed, but it's still the tip of the iceberg. In the last couple of days, after Christmas, I sat down again ready to write and this time it clicked. I was able to figure out all the scenes that need to happen and what exactly needs to happen in those scenes with as much detail as possible. Most of the scenes are 'completed' in that way. After the New Year, I'll start writing dialogue and also begin rendering!
Now that I have the workflow tested, I already know what exactly I need to do in what timeframe. No more fear of the unknown!
I'm ready and motivated to put all my free time into Episode 2!
