⭐ Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 cup Greek yogurt
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice, or more to taste
2 tbsp ketchup
Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
4 long skewers, or 8 short ones (2 for each kebab)
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix until combined, except for the chicken and skewers.
Cut the chicken into 1 inch wide strips.
Put into marinade, massage evenly until chicken is evenly coated.
Let sit in the fridge to marinate for at least 2-4 hrs, preferably overnight.
Skewer the chicken using 2 skewers, one towards the left side of the chicken and one
towards the right.
Keep skewering the pieces until it reaches the top of the skewer.
Repeat the skewering step until all the chicken is used.
If using a grill, prepare the grill as normal and preheated. If using a skillet/cast iron, preheat on medium heat with a bit of oil until hot.
Cook chicken until it naturally stops sticking to the surface, roughly 3-4 min.
Flip to the other side and cook in the same way.
Keep eye on the chicken and keep flipping to make sure it's evenly cooked on both sides and not burning, adjust heat as needed.
Cook until the chicken’s internal temperature is 165°F and serve hot!
