Dev update #168

First things first, I hope 2025 is off to a great start for you all. 2024 is behind us, and I can confidently say it was the best year of my life. Steam truly saved my business, I can’t thank the community enough for the incredible support. And, of course, a heartfelt thank you to everyone on Patreon for sticking with me throughout this journey. Deliverance first and Cybernetic Seduction second—what more could I ask for? Thank you all so much for being part of this journey.
It has been a while since my last update, and I realize some of you might have been wondering what’s going on. There’s been a lot happening recently—some good, some not so great—but let’s dive into what’s ahead.
Plans for 2025
The biggest goal for this year is to release Cybernetic Seduction - Season 2 on Steam. If all goes smoothly, I believe it’s doable, with a target release around October 2025. Season 2 will wrap up with Episode 7.1, so I’ll need to keep up a good pace to hit that timeline.
One of my first priorities after finishing Episode 6.1 will be to create the Steam page for Season 2 and start collecting wishlists. That’ll help build momentum as we gear up for the big release.
Now, onto the big question: how long will the game actually be?
I can finally share a clear roadmap. Cybernetic Seduction will end with Season 3, which will be a shorter season to tie up the story. In total, the game will have nine episodes, with 9.1 being the final chapter. That means we’ve still got a lot of ground to cover, but there’s a definitive end in sight. I think it’s nice to have this clarity moving forward—it helps everyone (myself included!) know what to expect.
The Bad News
Unfortunately, not everything has been smooth sailing. My PC unexpectedly stopped working, and I had to send it in for warranty repairs. It took a long time to get it back, and during that period, I couldn’t make much progress on renders or development.
The silver lining? I spent that downtime planning the rest of the story in detail and writing. I now have a very clear path for how the game will unfold, which should make development more focused moving forward.
Thank you all for your patience, your support, and your belief in this project. It means the world to me! Here’s to an exciting 2025 ahead!
Take care!
