2020-09-15 18:43:41 +0000 UTCI mean... The secret of the doctors youth is obviously booze lol! Fun story. My sister got sick just like Nami with temperatures stupidly high and everything. It was almost exactly the same. The only difference was she got a rash that came and went. She was only nine or ten at the time and I wasn’t even fourteen yet. My mum was a nurse so she was looking after her at home but my sisters fever kept coming back as soon as medicine wore off. We took her to hospital and they didn’t know what the cause was. Nothing was working and my sister wasn’t doing well at all. Finally they got a tick specialist in and he knew right away what it was. Tick typhus. Apparently it was more common in Queensland which has more tropical climates but my sis somehow managed to be the second ever person in NSW to be bitten by a certain type of tick that happened to be carrying it. She got given the right antibiotics and things right away and slowly improved. Her immune system has been pretty crummy since but otherwise she made a full recovery and now is in her twenties with two little kids and a husband. She’s also got a picture in a medical textbook! It was that unusual for someone in this part of Australia to get it. Long story short... This sort of thing is very possible! Ah my boy Chopper! He is a precious little bean and I love him to bits. That bit where Luffy was saying they were his Nakama though. It would have really gotten to him. Never a dull moment with Luffy and Sanji around I can tell you. They certainly don’t learn. What Chopper said about staying in bed and finishing the antibiotics is right. In real life bacteria likes to stick around. That’s why they always say to finish your antibiotic course even if you feel back to normal. You’re right. Chopper is trying to be all tough and stuff but he can’t help being flattered. Lol! Poor guy though. It’s a shame he didn’t hear the end of that conversation where Luffy thought he was awesome. It shows a lot about Choppers character, that he would protect those little baby birds so fiercely even though he was trying to get away from Luffy and Sanji. Once again Luffy has decided. Lol! That man continues to refuse every refusal. Quack Doctor and Chopper are so adorable together. It’s so sad that the doctor told him to leave. I guess it was to protect him from seeing him die? I always get hit right in the feels with his story. Poor little dude. Great reaction as always guys. I’m looking forward to the next instalment.

2020-07-11 06:28:17 +0000 UTCChopper stayed with Dr. Hiluluk for a year. He basically became a surrogate father to him. That story Hiluluk told Chopper about the master thief was about himself, only he lied about being cured. His mental state of rage and pain was "cured" by the sight of the beautiful sakura in bloom. Hiluluk knows he has little time left, and he doesn't want Chopper to see him die, but also, by completing his research, he wants to inspire Chopper to see the world.
