I know some so want to explain things from LN, but you should not do it for people only watching anime. Small explanation in context of anime what it showed should only be answered to. Anime in a sense is and even more Overlord anime little bit different story to anime only viewer as LN have so much lore that will never be explained in the anime. So for a viewer if they want to learn the lore and items, they need to read the Light Novels.

We know of the 6 gods, the 13 heroes (while only 1 of them was most likely a player) and the 8 greed kings. The question is, why did all those player appear as single entities, while Ainz took the whole guild with him? I think it is because he was sitting on the throne and wearing another WCI on top of that. There is a wild theory, that the dragon lords found out about the WCI and wanted to get their hand on them, without knowing that it's actually a game. They used some kind of wild magic to teleport all the WCI to their world and while the throne is directly connected to Nazarick, the whole guild got transported. But well, those are just some speculations ;)

2020-07-22 15:33:45 +0000 UTCI have this "unspoken rule" of explaining everything on YT...but screw that. EXPLAINING TIMEEEEEEE. So there are 200 know World Class Items (we, know abaut like 30). There are 2 WCI who should be "off the list", but meby they arent...I will get to it in a second. 180 WCIs you can use as much as you wish. They are super ultra turbo powerfull, but for the most part they are "regural" spells on steroids. For example during Shalltear fight Ainz summoned 2 magic swords who could attack on they own (it was cutted in anime, you aren't blind). There is World Class Item "Billion Blades", and it (probably) spawns Bilion such swords...I mean back in the game it would be at best 100, or 1000, cuz servers would "blow up" but all high tier stuff got radicoulous buffs when they were made real. And above them are "the 20". World Class Items that powerfull they disappear after single use (and in game spawn somewhere else, noone know how it work in New World), beacuse it's the only way to make it at least a little bit balanced. For example, there is a spear (don't remember the name now, it is reference to the spear that pierced Jesus on a cross), that DELETE your oponent. Not kill, not oneshot, delete. His entire account is removed after single strike, with no way to recover it, other than use other WCI. Other example is item that allows you to make any change you wish for to a magic system itself. Nazarick have 11 total World Class Items. They would have 12, but one got stolen by rival guild waaaay back when they were relaivly weak. Each floor guardian have 1. They used to have "Caloric Stone", technicly "one of the 20" but it was unique, beacuse its WCI, that can be created, and there can be multiple copys of it at the same time (it's super unlikely, beacuse you need to have shit ton of very very very rare materials, to make even one, and you basicly need to controll all 9 worlds, to creat multiple). It was used as a core for (golem) Rubedo. The most powerfull being in Nazarick. Back in the day the best player in the game. Lord Touch Me, couldn't even scratch her in "training duel". It probably counts to 11, cuz math says this way, but there might be 1 more unknown WCI in Nazarick. Other than that, there are 2 "of the 20" hidden behind "Mausoleum of the Supreme Ones", so straight up, you have to bridge every possible lane of defence to get there. We don't know anything abaut them, only that one of them could clear Mind Controll out of Shalltear. And 2 are "something different". I wont say anything abaut the first one, other than it's personal posesion of Ainz, to the point it is named "Momongas [cuted cuz of spoilers]". The other one is...drum rolls please...the throne. Yes. Its "Throne of Kings". We have no idea what it does (there is conspiracy theory, that after being made real, it grants super human ruling skills, and Ainz is realy great ruler wihout even knowing this...but there are many many conspiracy theorys involiving Ainz rulership). But wait a second. Arent World Class Items drops from the the most powerfull bosses, and other super hard challanges? Well yes they are. SO WHAT BOSS DROPS A FKING THRONE?! And the answer is...yea it would be stiupid, it wasn't a boss drop. So super turbo fast backstory, cuz this post is already too long, and noone will read it. Nazarick, before being claimed by Ainz Ooal Gown (the guild) as a base, was the hardest raid of the world (I don't remember now witch one, pls even more hardcore fans if there are any, don't kill me!). As a reward for clearing it all in "one night, first attempt, any wipes GG EZ" GM gave it to them as a reward...and everyone who ever played WoW knows, that clearing the entire raid in first try is basicly impossible...have I told, they were undergeared and not even everyone was at max lvl? So yea, game breaking World Class Item is equivalent reward for that. Aaaaand thats the base of what we know abaut World Class Items. I could drag it for much longer, but noone would read it, so thats it. See ya next time :)

2020-07-21 19:25:00 +0000 UTCThe series does a very good job with the story, which is why we are perceiving Ainz as a bad guy. Let me explain... In the 1st season, what the story implied was the introduction of the problems Ainz was facing in this new word, and what his plans for the future were given that he was teleported to this world; and we assume he is a OP isekai character that has to figure out what to do. In the 2nd season, it was focused on world building, to show us how the people of this new world were living (we got the lizardman, the royal family of the kingdom, Tuare, and the sneak peak of another kingdom (1st episode)), with the purpose to demonstrate how Nazarick's actions were affecting the world. This 3rd season is about story building, where we now understand how the actions of Nazarick affect the world and we know somewhat of how they (Nazarick) work (from season 1). In all we went from: This is just a guy who is OP -> Hey now... somethings you are doing are bad, but we understand some of it -> WHAT!? Is this ok????; Also, Ainz is not evil himself. Why do I say this? Because, eventhough his actions seem evil, what he is doing (from his perspective and can be somewhat perceived from ours) is that his goal is to:1 protect Nazarick at all costs, no matter who dies; 2 search this world for his friends; His actions have always been somewhat normal choices we take in games aswell, BUT when Demiurge thinks of those actions and imagines that those same actions are apart of a bigger plan (which are not), because he is the smartest NPC (by the definitions of his bio) in all of Nazarick, he then dumbfolds Ainz about how he thinks his (Ainz's) actions lead towards a bigger plan. For example: He created the persona Momon to be an adventurer and find out about the world, the people, to gain money, and to gain fame. However, Demiurge, as mentioned in this episode, thinks that Ainz created Momon to conquer E-Rantel without using force and to later use the persona to conquer the world... a big difference...; Liked the new streaming service, watched it with no issues. Loved this episode and the reaction. EDIT: When I mentioned that Ainz is not evil himself there is also another factor to this. In the game Yggdrasil, his guild was based around Heteromorphs,(monsters, undead, ...) which were given a sort of discrimination in the game (although they were the ones with greater stats), so they decided to impersonate as an evil guild (sorta like ones that always PKs people, or simular to evil organizations), with this they made the NPCs using that criterea of an evil guild, which is why almost all the NPCs are evil, or think they are supirior to anyone who isn't from Nazarick. One of the guild members who didn't go along with this was Touch Me, who created Sebas Tien (Sebastian), which is why in season 2 we saw him being different than the others. But as a player Ainz can act a certain way inside the game because of the freedom it gives, but in this new world his actions are of a normal, stratigic and composed person (with a few problems).

And ainz showed the old man his true identity/power so the old man was already in on Ainz's plan from the get go to send the workers to raid nazarick just so ainz had a reason to attack back. Also (Minor Spoiler, i think?) but when they said golden princess it's implied that the crazy one that loves climb is also in deep with nazarick lmfao

2020-07-21 18:23:01 +0000 UTCWorld class items are not one use items but there are twenty world class items in yggdrasil that are so powerful that they disappear after one use and Ains owns one of them and in season 1 episode 11 he is talking about that item. Also the new streaming service is working great for me.
