In ways that are just mistakes and hes going to be full of them from such a crazy situation he has found himself in( talking about this worlds period not these specific episodes).

While I do sympathize, and see the reason for what he did & said, that isn't an excuse. And, yea was Priscilla I was expecting XD You will see more of the other candidates in future (i don't think that's spoilery due to their positiions)

And yea, Reinhard was willing to overlook theft of the insignia, but he said he couldn't overlook the bigger crime of overlooking the response of the insignia to Felt. oh... that comment that Yaboy is Subaru... well... hindsight is 20-20 Blood ties doesn't matter for, as the candidates aren't related. Also, Felix x Subaru OTP :D (and, can't claim i've ever attached to that kinda ship, but eh. here we are.) Well, took me too long for that 'r' word. And, Nasty coming up with others i not heard of. Glad your intro are 10min+ generally now. love the interaction. I do like how Felt greets Reinhard with a smile, and a kick. And tests Subaru's gut wound with another kick. Again, we hear Emilia is a dead-ringer for the Witch. Is why she is hated so "unreasonably". I knew YaboyRockLee would like Priscilla... just a hunch I had. Ros-chi's smile at Subaru potentially bombshelling Emilia's chances... huh Yea, that is the same one that kissed her hand. Julius. And, Suburu called EMilia special... which is another issue. (find later in episode, she wanted to just be a person to him) Also, something I just realized but can't say. But is a reason Julius decided to stand against Subaru in the ring. even the knights in the stands were starting to think was too much of a 1 sided ... bludgeoning. "What is he proving?" Well, with his use of magic, Subaru proved he is not bound to his contracts, as technically while Emilia asked for 2 things, he only promised no magic. In terms of the magic gate, is my understand is similar to busting out your vocal cords, then overusing them while they heal, and he just screamed again before they heal. And, honestly while i have issue with a lot of his speech (credit to VA's in this scene), Emilia being told he can't look at her the same as he does anyone else, I think hurts the most to me. She's always been viewed differently than others because of her looks. -- So, yea, 2 promises he made. No magic (because he over used his overworked gate, and that's dangerous for him) and to stay put (as that is potentially a problem). So, two promises/contracts broken. And, we saw how Beako respected her contract to protect Subaru in that one instance. Also, claiming the idea someone should be with you because they owe you is both manipulative and disgusting. I sympathize with Subaru's plight, but he has some issues with his current outlook to Emilia. I would say, that doing too much, or for selfish reasons, isn't an issue. Saying that someone else owes you for the things you do, is where the issue comes in. I do like how Subaru asked if the knights practiced that saluting to be so in sync, so Julius said right out. Yes, of course we did. Hmm... with one exception, I think any of the 5 can be good for the country. Though, unyielding continuous selflessness is a problem, too. And, was it meant to cut off right after Nasty prayed for a reset?

2020-07-23 12:50:26 +0000 UTCI mean, I do feel for the guy, but he did explictly break many promises/contracts (and we've seen how much at least Beako respects those) in the way he went about things and caused quite a bit of embarrassment for Emilia and her position, though Ros-chi did seem amused.

I still won't tell anything abaut it, cuz of massive spoilers, but it's ultimate version of "I did it all for you", and in that timeline, they never even meet untill the very last scene. PS. It's I will obviously mark episode where "Pride" sidestory won't spoil anything, anymore.

2020-07-23 08:22:20 +0000 UTCIt's a really messed up situation cause Subaru has died over & over again, built all these memories & went through hell for her but with each re-set it's always wiped away so naturally he comes off as a psycho so she's not in the wrong for reacting the way she did.
