There are many underrated mecha focused anime out there that usually end up buried under other mech anime that try too much. I've seen many before where I've gotten lost because the direction was all over the place, and it didn't know where it was trying to go or what story to tell. Valvrave the Liberator is one of my most favorite, along with Full Metal Panic. It's like how there are now so many Isekai anime. Some turn out to be interesting, some turn out to be top tier amazing, and others turn out to be just... not so good. It happens in every genre. To be honest I saw your comment just as I was watching the opening scenes of the reaction, and my first thoughts were "Oh no... a mech anime?". But the first episode left a really good impression.

I learned that the mechs they use have no armor at all, they are basically aluminium armor in toughness, that is why he could cut a piece out with his knife to remember his friend. I am more interest as is that squad only human squad inside drones, or is this fully fight between humans and every single machine has a human? And who are they fighting, another country?

2021-04-21 15:09:57 +0000 UTCLike CJ, I highly highly recommend Vivy. It's right up your guys alley, has a plot that can give a ton of talking points, and the art/animation is godly, with music just as good. The story is also not at all what you'd expect given how it "appears" to be an idol show
