We definitely thrive more in plot-based anime of humor...for example...Konosuba is ok..Combatants dispatched is GREAT for our tastes of course

Love the OST in this one! I remember being hella hyped but mad at the same time when they nuked my hometown about of nowhere. The CC Bridge didn't deserve that!

2021-05-02 20:30:59 +0000 UTCYeah i feel like Aldnoah is generally acceptable as a whole i guess. But there is definitely a big difference difference between first and second season. For mech shows I think Strain and Full Metal Panic are also worth watching.

2021-05-02 16:07:39 +0000 UTCYeah mecha isn't as big in the west but its huge is japan, I think people really attached a stigma to it...They see mecha and think its something corny like action but just big robots but often times Mecha has a lot more drama than you're typical anime.

Even if you’re just thinking about it for the future; I’d recommend Rance The Quest for Hikari as a nice starter H-series with a decent plot; that isn’t too hardcore scene wise that it gets awkward as reactors (it’s a blend of combatants/konosuba and redo of healer)

I think you guys will like it as you haven't seen Gundman or any other mech shows that much, so it will be good starting point =). Opening song is still fire, still have it on my mp3 when I go take my walks =)
