I think they had no choice with this adaptation because of the sheer number of creatures that are in battles. The studio made a valiant effort in that department. On the other hand, they really needed to flesh out the 2D side more. It's sad how they ruined some impactful scenes on the human side. I'll still support this for the sake of the author though.

I don't read the novel or such but It's pretty clear to me that Ariel tries to stop the attack by Kumoko parallel minds on mother and her (Ariel) mind herself got infiltrated by one of Kumoko parallel minds at the end of this episode.

Just because we have a demonlord named Ariel who looks a lot like that one in the future, and even though Ariel is trying to kill our spider pal in the present (or past, whatever), that doesn't rule out the possibility that our spider takes that form in the future.

It was that at one moment Ariel (the Origin Tesserect demonlord) was observing the parallel minds attacking the mother spider, noting that it hasn't ceased even after she "killed" the rogue, then the next moment (after the "body" mind noticed her) Ariel herself found she was being attacked in the same manner. They are not the same entitiy, I'm sure of it.

2021-05-09 07:19:54 +0000 UTCThe problem isn't even cg but how they use cg. Anime style of animating is always minimalist-stop-and-pause. What I mean by this if you watch how anime are animated, it is mostly a still picture until animation is needed to convey what is happening. However when cg is involve, the character is continually animated (like a game character model in a video game). This stark contrast between the minimalist style and always-animated style makes it look awkward and out of place.

Hiro Wakaba has died according to Miss Oka. The down and dirty is that we have not gotten the needed or same name and character association that has happened with other characters/reincarnations. We just need one time to confirm it, until then there is something funny going on. Also I am on Vol 11 of the LN and I know the truth. but none of what I have said is spoilers.

Ariel was likely using her Kin Control on Mother to see if Kumoko's attack had stopped. What we likely saw was Kumoko's body brain using Ariel's kin control skill with mother to enter Ariels mind/soul and start to try to attack her like the three minds originally entered mother's mind/soul.

There is only one Demon lord the scene takes place after she backhands Wakaba. Mother asked for help as she is linked to Demon lord same as Wakaba, just in reverse. that's about all I can say without risking spoilers, hopefully, it will clear things up for you.

(First of all Mama Spider is an undrling of Demon Lord, and not the same person) 1. Mama spider went out to kill our spider, couldn't do it 2. Our spider started to catch out and kill 1 by 1 Mama spider minions 3. Mama spider called for help from Demon Lord 4. Demon lord came in and oneshoted our spider (but immortality OP I guess) 5. Demon Lord went to check on Mama Spider only to find out the attack of pararel brains is still going 6. When Demon Lord was inside Mama spider brain one of pararell minds did the same thing to her as they did to Mama Spider 7. Demon Lord got "wtf?! This shit can work on ME?!" 8. The hell I know [Human PoV] I'm 99% sure the guide guy told that Mama Spider USED TO be the ruler of the labyrynth, but isn't anymore=our spider is the top dog there now, aslo our spider managed to get "endless" body dubless [Demons PoV] Mama Spider is still fine (they mentioned crossing her therytory), and Demon Lord is clearly still the ruler there. Remembering that one of her spider minions was problematic but isnt anymore...and then it showed us once again this white demon lord minion. I'm 99% sure that this is either even more in the future than human side, and Demon Lord had beaten our spider into submission, and reinstalled Mama Spider as top dog of the labyrynth OR it's happening at the same time, and Demon Lord had beaten our spider into submission, but sees her as a more valuable that Mama spider therefore our spider got to be top dog of the labyrynth with her body-double-avatat-thingys, meanwhile main body in humanoid form is close to the Demon Lord 24/7 so she can't try to do something Aaaand It.might all be nonsense, the beauty of being blind!

That ending scene had the "BODY" Kumoko mind attack her when she went to check on the Mother Spider's soul. That is how I understood it. Well I could be wrong and Director cracked the code :D

Even though D said that they were given forms that fit their souls. Even Kumoko has a desire for a human form. It is normal for her to act more like her old self. I do not see her becoming a bully or villain again. If anything she is just more upbeat and less destructive.

There's only one who managed to break the kin control and that's Kumoko. The Demon Lord simply used her kin control skill to look at mother's mind to check on her status. She's NOT the Queen taratect.
