So I thin at this point Lee doesn't understand that Whitebeard is only 1 of the 4 Emperors. Look at how much trouble an old and sick Emperor gave the Marines, it shows you why they wouldn't want to deal with a second Emperor and his crew in the same day. There is a reason that it takes the Marines + the 7 warlords together to balance out the 4 Emperors, its bc the 4 Emperors are the strongest Pirate groups, and usually the largest groups in the world

Yup. Observers Haki. Dark King explains to Luffy in ep 515-516 and the anime uses flash backs. I see a lot of people miss even the anime is aware of what the average person can remember because they continuously use the flash backs at key moments.

I didn’t look back at the episode. But when Coby wakes up and they replay the scene. It’s clear. One Piece does a good job at using flash back for the viewer like me who may have missed it. Lol. I don’t know how i missed it now to be honest lol. Even Erza didn’t say anything from what I remember

That’s not really true. In One Piece for whatever reason no matter how damaged you are you can still fight at 100% we’ve seen it a lot you just can’t take as much punishment.

Blackbeard's plan to make Luffy warlord was only to so he could kill him as a warlord to gain respect from the navy and position of Warlord for himself. For these future betrayals, but he got it anyway from capturing Ace.

Buggy is so unbelievably strong, he survived Mihawk and Aokiji's attacks, dodging attacks from Akainu and Kizaru. Crocodile in this arc shows just why he is such a great villain, and character. Shanks comes in like a boss, stands up for Koby and presides to stop that war while managing to avoid a war with both Blackbeard and Buggy! Blackbeard does what Buggy said he would do, this shows the difference in between that of being evil and putting on an evil act. Blackbeard also having the "strongest Logia" and the "strongest Paramicia", hints to just how problematic he will be also already portraying how much strength he just gained. Just so many good moments in this reaction, and so many dope characters in this arc..

This episode solidified Shanks role in the OP world. I was dying laughing at Erza as I saw the way she transitioned into liking Shanks throughout the episode. They definitely drew him in a way that you can't help but falling for him :P

So besides the obvious with why the marines are shook(which you already know) I’d also note that all of them are injured and or tired to some degree and now a fresh emperer and his entire crew has showed up. Akainu for example is really powerful but I doubt even he would wanna chance fighting Shanks with a cracked rib from fighting Whitebeard 10 minutes ago.

Im surprised you were not more impressed with Ben Beckman (right hand man of shanks) halting an admiral just by pointing a gun at him though it is said that kizaru was just playing around. You have to understand they have no reason to route for Whitebeard same for Luffy unless they know them personally and pirates are bad a majority of them burn down villages plunder and kill a number of innocent people Navy soldiers became soldiers to protect there family or to prevent people from losing their family the same way they did to pirates which makes me thinks that what happened to Akainu what reason would citizens want pirates to win if Blackbeard won it would be the beginning of the end if he best every Navy there and there's no one to protect the citizens it would be chaos we know Whitebeard was trying to do but why would citizens who live by the law want them to win but it's responsible not to agree with them cheering but they don't know from these pirate perspective like we do

Instead of the science boy, his name is way closer to the saiyan man. Sengoku. And fun fact about naming, the real historical pirate Blackbeard name is Edward Teach or Edward Thatch, depend on the spelling. So to complete himself, Teach has to kill the other two characters named after the same person as him. Got his first power from Thatch, and second power from Edward. There can only be one.

Just a clarifying footnote: Blackbeard didn't know Luffy was Ace's brother until Ace told him. Also, Coby saying "One by one, the voices are disappearing from my head" sounds kinda familiar. ----- I really love the scheming on Teach's part. It was very elaborate, yet flexible and adaptable and risky enough to be able to adjust and flip things in his favor. He basically was biding his time for 20+ years under Whitebeard, hoping to get the Dark Dark Fruit somehow, and further down the line, the Tremor Tremor fruit. Remember the flashback when Ace was in consideration for the 2nd Division Commander position? And he asked Teach, "Hey are you okay with my taking the position? You've been here longer than me." Blackbeard said, "Naw, go for it, I have no such ambition." Once Thatch picked up the fruit and it happened to be the right one, Blackbeard made his move. After years of quiet and obscurity, he struck. That's why Whitebeard's red flags went off and he said to Ace "I gotta bad feeling about this. Maybe you should let this go." Blackbeard's first order of business was to move into a position of power as a Warlord, so that he could get access to Impel Down and free the strongest Level 6 folks to join his crew. And he was looking for a way to make himself a viable contender for that role. That's when he found Luffy's 100mil bounty in Jaya. It just happened to be chance that Ace caught up with him and he defeated Ace turned him in instead. Once he defeated Ace, he realizes he has a shot at getting Whitebeard's fruit. The old man will undoubtedly go to war to rescue his son, and Teach knows that the old man's health isn't what it used to be. Once the Navy's worn him down, Teach and the new level 6 recruits can finish Whitebeard off in a bid to try and get his power (through a means that's still unclear). His crew said "Phew, if this failed, we'd have to disband". Which indicates that the Level 6 folks were gonna bounce if he couldn't get the Tremor Tremor fruit before it materialized elsewhere in the world.

Mr 2 Bon Clay: Helped Luffy escape Impel Down (He was like the vital piece of the escape) Mr 3 Galdino: Helped Luffy to release Ace and also release Marco Mr 1 Daz Bonez: Rescued Luffy from Mihawk's attack on Crocodiles order Mr 0 Crocodile: Saved Ace from early execution, saved Luffy from Akainu (High key one of the MVPs of the arc) When Law was introduced, he was titled as "Surgeon of Death" Blackbeard really changed the game with two devil fruits. Shanks entrance was one of the coolest surprises in the show.. I felt so relieved that time Also cheering would be appropriate if u think the world government is right and they are not the audience so they think WG is right ( pirates are bad is ingrained in their brain) ..so they cheer for their victory
