i like the show as much as the next person, but man does haikyu try so hard to make it dramatic. that white haired guy is a literal plot device to even out the scales and give advantage to their team by doing physically almost impossible and statistically impossible shit, even pro world level athletes cant do that lmao. and ryuu and asahi are really mid spikers, any spikers from the teams they have fought until now can replace them and probably become a better team. their enemies have been doing insane, compilation worthy saves for like 4 episodes now and our team is like missing weird spikes, not even reacting to enemy spikes, etc. i get it, its to make it more hype-y and dramatic but jesus christ its dragging on
