true, we saw glimpses of him breaking down even during the mansion arc where Emilia got him to calm down with the lap pillow. Before getting summoned here, he was a shut-in, so he was not in an emotionally stable state from the start, and the crazy stuff he has been through in the past week or two has definitely not helped. In reality, even if he was the most emotionally stable person from the start, I doubt many would be unfazed by what he's been through for the past 2 weeks.

2023-05-21 18:39:29 +0000 UTCNow that I think about it, I feel like Subaru was nerfed in his fight against Julius, he was keeping up- even if for a while with Elsa, WHO managed to casually avoid Felt's insane speed and killed her afterwards. He was only doing so WITH a giant mace, while she was handling dual-blade daggers. Stopping her attacks left and right, despite her being pretty strong, I feel like he should've at least given a bit more of a fight before being taken down ( pathetically ).
