Dang, literally didn't understand Roswaal saying he personally led the previous events to happen and couldn't solve the problem he created himself. Also getting baited by Garfiel...Emilia literally said "believe in me". Yea, Subaru wants her to overcome her past, of course that's a good thing. Emilia being the savior benefits herself and her bid for ruler, which is her wish, not Subaru's....

2023-05-22 21:26:11 +0000 UTCThis, the dad is a cool dad and clearly tried to help too, but in the end, it was the mom that actually understood and knew what to say to get him past his longstanding issue. Subaru always had issues trying to live up to the expectation of how great his dad is, but the mom acknowledged his feelings of wanting to be like his dad while telling him that he did not need to be as great as his dad, he can be himself.
