Shinomiya purposely left poor produce to cut out those who are slow in decision making, who lack in knowledge of selection of good produce, etc. Selection of good produce and getting it before other is a challenge if you’re competing for excellence in your culinary business. Megumin unfortunately fell in that trap. She was nervous at the beginning because of the ruckus and failed to secure all good produce in time.

The budget is built around these recipes, the ingredients ordered are based off of these recipes, and what the customer expects to get is based off of these recipes.
