2020-11-20 21:10:54 +0000 UTCUnfortunately the major anime distribution companies seem to think translating the opening and closing is not worth it for some reason (probably because it would cost more), I highly recommend finding a fan sub on a streaming site that translates them because although they are not necessarily "necessary", they are a huge part of the charm of the series by being specifically made for the show and performed entirely by the cast "in- house" so to speak, and the closing allows all 4 of those VAs to shine in a way not really appreciated here in the west like they are in Japan by having them all sing together.
