hope you enjoyed the Megumin spin-off! I thought it was just decent until first rewatch with this movie seen after - and it's infinitely better. We get way more character dev with YunYun - the point at which I was crying as she overcame the embarassment. Spin-off should be watched around Konosuba S2E7 - while on their way to Arcanretia.

2020-12-01 10:36:59 +0000 UTCTo gratuate from the magic academy in the Crimson Deamon Village, you have to use magic. Nearly all of them save skill points until they can learn advanced magic. Yunyun learned intermediate. Megumin, well you know what she learned. So it all depends on how fast one gets enough skill points to learn magic. Megumin was really good at it. So thats why she, and Yunyun, are younger then the others. In the flashback when Kommeko, Megumins sister, was in trouble, she yelled "give back my food". The monsters held Chomosuke in their hands. I hope we can get an Episode of Megumins story before she meets up with the other Gang, because her story explaines ALOT of things happening in the world. Also why Megumin loves Explosion Magic. They did a handstand run, because they said nothing can escape this factory. And if there could be something they would run on their hands back to the village. They did some changes in the movie, that i disagree with. The fight of the crimson deamons against Sylvia was so much funnier in the Light Novel. I can highly recommend you read the LN if you like the show. And the last fight was made only for the movie, it was not in the LN.
