I got some heat in the Arlong Arc fore wanting Nami to atleast hit the man. People said she's not a "fighter" I dunno. she looks like a fighter to me, not a powerhouse i guess, but I'm happy with the development. I do generally like strong Female Characters.

Is this a mistake that can be fixed, or was this done on purpose for something important and won't be undone. Edit: I opened the video in a separate tab by clicking the title and it fixed it..... weird, but okay. It's all good now😅👍.

Sanji didn't say it was about that, still i think it is nice to assume that Sanji just like Luffy is trying to adapt to the problems they are facing. They meet someone who can freeze everything. And in the same ark Sanji introduces the fire leg. Can that really be coincidence, i don't think so not with Oda.

But now after everything they went through she has come to realize that if push comes to shove, its better to give everything you have, rather than giving up. I think Arlong was this big menace that kept her thinking, "i have no chance at all against some people." Luffy and the others have shown her, no matter how hard it may look, there is still a chance for you to win. Also her new weapon makes a big deal, it is the perfect weapon for her, since she understands weather so well.

2021-01-18 15:56:38 +0000 UTCNo one in the crew are truly fighters apart from luffy and zoro, even then sanji is considered one since hes practiced fighting all his life in his restaurant, and was brought up by a famous pirate cheg. No one else in the crew grew up training or seeking fights but these three, robin assassinated and used her powers mainly for espionage. Saying nami isn't a fighter isn't a slight on her, its just factual, chopper CAN fight but hes a doctor, nami CAN fight but shes a navigator first, robins archeology/ intelligence and sanji being a cook, they have roles that surpass strenght imo. After all, this crew would be dead 5 times over without namis navigation or ussops random ideas and fixing of the ship, or sanji's cooking, looking back specially early OP the crew almost dies several times within the space of a few episodes and was saved due to nami, or ussops instructions on how to fix breakages, but who do they look to when something requires force? Luffy, zoro, sanji, the ones who grew up as fighters, and have dreams requiring it, zoro must surpass mihawk(nuff said), luffy has a goal that requires more stength than even that (as mihawk said, pirate king is a large goal than best swordsman), sanji needed to be strong to go to the grand line and find the all blue (zeff knew this and is why he trained him, knowing they shared the same dream), still, its true, nami can fight but by fighters we mean that with or without weapons they have strenght.
