The whole thing is wild lol. I'm glad to have Usopp back on the team lol. One thing i learned after his fight with Luffy is to monitor his actions more than what he's actually saying. Because he lies to people including himself, whether to psyche himself up or believe the lie, whatever it is.

Yea people don’t like the subtitles and 90% of the time recommend a source that also uses the same bad subtitles they don’t like. Lol

When Usopp apologized Zoro said "Usopp!" but the subtitles said "that's more like it". I hate these subtitles but Love your reactions. Will still keep watching , but I recommend trying a different side with other subtitles when able!

These CCs put the speaker in brackets every time someone offscreen is speaking. So what you saw at 1:01:42 was "[ACE] Captain Marshall D. Teach of the Blackbeard Pirates." The reason the translation is off on some of these subs is because they're displaying the closed captions of the English dub, not directly translating what's said in Japanese.

Blackbeards power work like those sea prism stone ( the handcuffs we saw in enies lobby) on the devil fruit users , contact with him nullifies the power unless contact is broken. Also if u remember there are three types of fruits, Paramecia: You get the properties of certain things but people can still hit you, like Luffy is Paramecia type. Zoan is transforming into any kind of animal. Dalton was a zoan, Chopper is a zoan Logia is you become the property itself like literally, you are that. Ace is literal fire, smoker is literal smoke, crocodile is literal sand

He is that coward, i mean if u imagine that everyone around u is superhuman, every villain is a supervillain, u will lie through u teeth to get out of the situation as u just a normal human being with a dream of becoming the brave warrior one day. Also, another thing is that Zoros's mentality corresponds to yours back in the time. You just had to look the other side as well too but I think it's hard to share the mentality to look at the other side when u are watching for the first time.
