There are a lot of good shows and movies out there. Not only Kdramas but Cdrama-Chinese drams, Thai dramas and Japan. For Kdramas there are, Fated to love you- which had several different versions from Taiwan, Thailand, Japan which is titled You are my Destiny, Moon lovers- Scarlet Heart Ryeo, which adapted from the Chinese version- Scarlett Heart, this show has time travel, which is the best, Uncanny Encounter, Hell bound, K2, Kill me Heal Me, Tomorrow Cantiballe, Goblin - number you have to see it, Strong Woman Bon Soon, Cheese in the Trap- most def, to name a few!! There is a ton of catalog!! Check out some reality shows too such as Knowing brothers- Ask us Anything, Running Man and Sixth Sense very great one of my favorite K rappers is on the show, Jessi she is from New York!!

Yeah thx for clearing that up, exactly variety gameshow, runningman is great, especially the in the beginning as the cast is somewhat younger so they physically capable, its not some typical gameshow where they shoot in a studio, runningman is a larger scale in term of area as the show tagline "dont walk but run" so they been running all over the place to completed a mission

I recommend a Netflix live action thai show called girl from nowhere that has 2 seasons and 23 episodes which i think you and director will like because it is dark, crazy, fantasy and there is a new premise/story line in each episode but with the same main character. This is the basic layout - Nanno is a mysterious and clever girl who should be avoided when she's in the area. She transfers to different schools, and when she lands at a new institution, she exposes the lies and misdeeds of the students and faculty at every turn. The girls Nanno encounters often want to try to destroy her, but she always has the upper hand. Thanks for all the reactions.

All in all, Koreans produce a lot of great content, however their biggest issue are "bloat/fillers", often times they make shows that could have been wrapped up in 8-10 episodes - 16-20 episodes. So I would suggest to start with one of the short and sweet shows first both for enjoyment and algo.

Well since you asked for diversity. I would recommend Goblin starring gong yoo (aka the dad from train to busan). If you’re looking for a romance drama for the month of February I would recommend love alarm seasons 1 and 2. Strong girl Bong Soon and and Reply 1988 and/or Reply 1997 if you want a good laugh. Lastly I would like to recommend Save Me if you’re interested in a thriller kdrama .Some of these choices that I mentioned are on a app called Viki. If you want test drive it first they have a seven day free trial and you can cancel anytime.
