I mean, most of us would agree that in total war it's justified to wipe out your enemy, if the alternative is getting wiped out by them. But then there is problem of "ok we wiped Marley out, what's next"...he can't stop there, cuz the history will litteraly repeat itself EVERY other nation would just see it and react "OH SHIT HE JUST WIPED OUT THE STRONGEST NATION" (aaaaand standard circle of fear-->hate-->KILL THEM ALL)...but wiping out innocent people just beacuse "if we don't do it now, they will turn on us in the future" is messed up...there is no right answer in this situation

Later the Eldian Empire dominated the world, but after some time a civil war broke out between the eight titan wielders which ended with the Founder saying: "fuck it" we've done too much dirt lets renounce all war and live on this island. Eldia was never on the receiving end of genocide.

She did that back during season 1 and I think when they explained all the titan abilities they mentioned it again.

Everyone is near the destroyed Wall Maria now and Connie has to get to his village that is inside Wall Rose. If Eren destroyed all the walls Connie will encounter a second wave of Colossal titans before he gets to his village. Even if he manages to avoid them the third wave from wall Sina may step on his mother that can't move. Unless the Colossal titans try to avoid stepping on Eldians...
